Experience, I know I have it, but I am not too sure about the others. Read and learn.
I do have a lot of experience, doing hundreds of income tax returns each year, but did you know that I also teach continuing education classes for income tax preparers? It's true, I did so for many years at H&R Block where I taught almost every advanced tax class they have offered and I have been recognized for my outstanding contributions to the company. Now I have seminars which have been developed to help other professional and not just tax people. We help the travel industry too. Add to all of this the fact that I have returned to the stage as a stand up comic, which makes the presentation even more enjoyable.
Yes, I do have lots of experience, doesn't everyone? Just like everyone else, well maybe like everyone else, I have been doing income tax returns professionally for over 20 years at real companies. I do or have done almost every type of income tax return from the very simplest to the most complex. From a single W2 (1040EZ) to a 1120 (Corporation return). This is important, because my experience comes from a real income tax company, it is real work experience, and it is verifiable. Again, so many will claim to have experience, so what else can I say? (I will tell you what I can say.)
These others are not lying and the truth is so interpretive. (Yes, once again, I get in another self-serving sentence and you will be tested.)
Just for a moment, ponder these thoughts of wisdom. 'I did my taxes in 1998, I did them in 1999, I did them in 2000, and I did them in 2001. I have no clue if I did them right, and the letters correcting my mistakes from the IRS suggest I may need help'. I decide to take a tax class. I have now finished this tax class, and am offered a part-time job with a tax company. (Here comes your truth test.)
